Writing opportunity at Womens Online Magazine
Women's Online Magazine (WOM) is actively searching for contributors. We
are launching a .pdf version of the magazine (WOM in PRINT, a free copy)
in the next month, which will be disseminated across the Internet through
the major business and social networking sites (with audience more than
50,000 in total).
We are currently looking for contributors who can provide content that
appeals to women.
Topics can focus on any of the following categories;
Food and Wine
Arts and Entertainment
Sports
Travel
Cooking
Fashion
Beauty
Career
Business
Life
Health & Fitness
Diet & Nutrition
Home & Decor
Music
Movies
Relationship
Finance
and any other topics of interest to women.
Acceptance of the articles will be based on suitability of content to the
audience, conciseness (max word count is 600), sentence structuring,
grammar, etc. Only articles meeting these requirements will be
considered.
WOM's editorial staff reserves the right to review, edit, and make
changes to the original article as deem fit. Articles will also include
the author's bio and contact information. Pictures/ images are highly
encouraged (author is responsible for copyright issues). Contributors will
be required to sign a form stating that materials belongs to him/her and
article is original, and has not been published elsewhere.
This writing opportunity is open to the public (women and men - even if
you are not a regular columnist of Women's Online Magazine, you are
welcome to submit your article for consideration).
You can submit your article for consideration no later than September 15,
2007, to info@womensonlinemagazine.com.
As a thank you for contributing to the magazine, we are offering
contributors a 66% off on one (1) column ad space (3150 x 750 in pixels or
10.5 x 2.5 in inches, hyperlink to a website) on the article's page.
The actual rate for the column ad is $150, but contributors whose articles
are chosen for the magazine will receive the ad for only $50 (one time)!
WOM in PRINT is an international publication and it will be published
every 3 months starting from October 2007. The next issue will be
published in January 2008.
WOM is currently receiving more than 10,000 visits each month. As the .pdf
and the website continue to grow, the reach of this publication will only
skyrocket.
