I watched a short interaction between my father-in-law (FIL) and mother-in-law (MIL) and I was moved to consider more to the book about my husband's family that I could write. My MIL and FIL are such great friends and their families are very tight. Last night was my niece's 10th birthday celebration and as usual, the immediate family came over (I use that term loosely as "immediate" family means something different to our culture than to others.
